Physicians who practice Breastfeeding Medicine/Fourth Trimester Care combine medical and lactation support for both mother and baby, providing care to both patients at the same time.
Breastfeeding involves BOTH mother and baby, and Dr. Insiyah provides specialized breastfeeding care for BOTH. She sees both mother and baby as patients in their home/virtual visit and she is able to address and treat issues that are identified with either the mother and/or the baby. In addition to providing basic lactation care and support, she also provides medical support, guidance and treatment for more complex breastfeeding issues.
Visits are extended to make sure all your questions are answered and baby’s needs are addressed. Dr. Insiyah’s approach considers physical, environmental, social, spiritual and emotional influences that may be affecting your family.
